FTA Registered Tax Agent 5,000+ Returns Filed From AED 249 / Return

Why Your Choice of CT Filing Provider Matters

Every UAE business registered for Corporate Tax must file an annual return through EmaraTax — even if tax liability is zero, you made a loss, or you qualify for the 0% free zone rate. Missing the deadline or filing incorrectly triggers penalties that accumulate every month and cannot be reversed.

The difference between a reliable CT filing service and an unreliable one is not just speed — it is whether they compute your tax correctly, apply all available reliefs, verify consistency with your VAT returns, and submit without errors. A wrong filing can trigger an FTA audit. A correct filing, done early, gives you peace of mind for the entire year.

⚠ Deadline Alert: Corporate tax returns must be filed within 9 months of the financial year end. For Dec 2025 year-ends: 30 Sep 2026. For Jun 2025 year-ends: 31 Mar 2026. Late filing = AED 500/month for the first 12 months, then AED 1,000/month.

⚠ FTA Penalties for Late Corporate Tax Filing (Cabinet Decision No. 129/2025)

These penalties are effective from 14 April 2026. They accumulate monthly — there is no grace period.

AED 500 Per month — first 12 months late filing
AED 1,000 Per month — after 12 months late filing
14% Annual interest on late tax payment
AED 10,000 Fixed — late CT registration

Filing from AED 249 with Fastlane avoids all of these entirely.

How to Choose a Reliable Corporate Tax Filing Service

There are hundreds of tax consultants in Dubai. Most of them started offering CT filing in 2023 when the law came into effect. Here are the six criteria that separate a reliable provider from one that will cost you more in penalties than you save in fees.

  1. FTA-Registered Tax Agent Status
Only registered Tax Agents can legally file returns on your behalf through EmaraTax. Ask for the TRN. If the firm cannot produce one, they are not authorised. Fastlane's TRN: 104218042400003.
  2. Fixed-Fee Pricing per Return
Avoid firms that charge hourly or bill vague "advisory fees" on top of filing. The best providers quote a fixed fee based on your revenue bracket. You should know the exact cost before any work begins.
  3. Full Tax Computation — Not Just Form Submission
Filing is not just entering numbers into EmaraTax. A proper service includes computing taxable income (adjustments for non-deductible expenses, exempt income, loss carry-forward), assessing SBR eligibility, and verifying consistency with your VAT returns. If a provider asks you to "send the numbers and we will enter them," they are not doing the computation.
  4. Same-Day or Next-Day Turnaround
For businesses under AED 3M revenue electing SBR, the entire filing should take under 3 hours. For larger businesses, 3–5 working days is reasonable including computation. If a provider quotes "2–3 weeks," your file is sitting in a queue.
  5. Entity-Type Experience
CT filing rules differ for mainland LLCs, free zone QFZPs, natural persons, foreign branches, and holding companies. Your provider must know the specific elections, exemptions, and documentation for your structure. A free zone QFZP filing, for example, requires audited financial statements — a mainland SBR filing does not.
  6. Post-Filing Support and Compliance Suite
CT filing is one piece of the compliance puzzle. You also need quarterly VAT filing, ongoing accounting, and potentially an annual audit. A provider that handles all of these saves you time, money, and the risk of inconsistencies between filings.

Small Business Relief: 2026 Is the Last Year

⚠ SBR Expires 31 December 2026: Under Ministerial Decision No. 73/2023, Small Business Relief is available for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2026. If your revenue is under AED 3 million, this year is your last guaranteed chance to pay AED 0 in corporate tax. Fastlane assesses SBR eligibility as part of every filing.

Small Business Relief allows businesses with revenue under AED 3 million per tax period to elect for zero taxable income. You still need to register for CT and file a return — but your tax liability is AED 0. The election is made on the return itself; Fastlane handles this automatically.

Important: SBR is not available to free zone companies claiming QFZP status, members of a Multinational Enterprise Group with consolidated revenue exceeding AED 3.15 billion, or businesses that have previously elected out of SBR.

Corporate Tax Filing for Free Zone Companies

Every free zone company must file a corporate tax return — this is not optional, regardless of QFZP status, revenue level, or whether you have ever traded. The return is where you claim the 0% rate. Without filing, you cannot benefit from it.

Fastlane files CT returns for all major UAE free zones: IFZA, DMCC, JAFZA, DAFZA, DSO, DWC, Meydan, RAKEZ, DWTC, DIFC, SAIF Zone, SRTIP, and more.

Free zone QFZPs must also maintain audited financial statements — a mandatory condition of QFZP status under Ministerial Decision No. 139 of 2023. Fastlane is an approved auditor for IFZA, DMCC, JAFZA, DSO, DWC, Meydan, RAKEZ, and DWTC — we handle both the audit and the CT filing in one engagement.
