When you change accountants, you often inherit draft financial statements that look finished. Before you finalise and submit them, it's worth a focused review — not to redo the work, but to confirm the figures match your records and are presented correctly.
What the review covers
- Review the draft We go through the draft financial statements and the ledger behind them.
- Compare against supporting documents We trace entries to your bank statements and invoices to confirm the descriptions and classifications match.
- Confirm the IFRS basis We make sure the statements are prepared and presented in line with IFRS.
- Correct only where required We fix genuine misclassifications or presentation issues — without rewriting figures that are already right.
- Finalise We finalise the corrected statements so they're ready to submit.
The draft financial statements (PDF), the accounting spreadsheet or ledger (Excel), and your bank statements and invoices for the period. Where the financials need uploading on a free zone portal, we can submit them too — we'll just need portal access.
